The apprenticeship is over
Now the real test has begun

When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder — able to capture and release souls—spreads like wildfire, people grow uneasy. Already Yelena's unusual abilities and past have set her apart. As the Council debates Yelena's fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before.…

Honor sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills, and the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Her journey is fraught with allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty. Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself—and save the land she holds dear.
This book is action packed! Adventures? Check! Magic? Check! Great characters? Check! Romance? Check! Villains? Check! This is better than Poison Study and Magic Study. This is awesome!

Characters are still awesome. Snyder did a great job in making the characters better without changing their personalities. Yelena is braver and smarter in this book. Valek is still awesome. Yelena plus Valek equals awesomeness.

This book is full of twists. While reading this you'll be shocked because of the revelations of different characters and everything. There's no dull moment in this book. Oh,  thank you so much, Snyder for making this awesome series.

This is awesome book. This is a kind of book that will stay in my mind and heart forever. This really deserves a 5 out of 5 noodles. I will read the Glass Series by Maria Snyder soon. I hope it's good as this series or better. :))

“There's always another storm. It's the way the world works. Snowstorms, rainstorms, windstorms, sandstorms, and firestorms. Some are fierce and others are small. You have to deal with each one separately, but you need to keep an eye on whats brewing for tomorrow.”
“You asked how I can be so calm. I don't have time not to be. I would like to grieve and worry and carry on, but that doesn't achieve results.”
“You should know what happens when you play with fire, Cahil. Eventually, you'll get burned.”
